SMALL TOWN, BIG EXPERIENCE

Auburn is a small city with a mild climate and big opportunities. Auburn's downtown area, with restaurants and shops, is within easy walking distance of the campus. In a ten-minute drive, you can visit a 16-screen movie theater, shopping mall, and 90 holes of golf. A few miles from campus, Chewacla State Park has 696 acres of hiking and camping. Just 1.5 hours away you'll find the largest city in the Southeast, Atlanta, home to the nation's busiest airport (so it's easy to fly home when you need to) and more than a dozen Fortune 500 companies.

“When I first came to the U.S., I knew no one here. But from the moment I arrived at Auburn, I was encouraged to become part of the university, so I soon started to feel that, yes, this is my family. And I believe we all think like that at Auburn. You can't escape the Auburn spirit when you're here. Even when I go back to India, I'll still be a  part of the Auburn Family. It's a feeling. And it's great to be a part of it."
